Play

Make the most of playtime! Pathways.org’s Play Brochure covers a range of play-based topics that can be used to help develop a child’s life skills. Play allows children to engage early on with those around them, to develop new skills that promote creativity and independence. It also helps children learn how to problem solve, socialize, and so much more.
What's Inside?
- List of important life skills gained from play, such as problem solving, flexibility, and understanding social situations
- Simple, interactive playtime activities that help children meet milestones by age, from 0-6 months, 7-12 months, 1-3 years, and 4-6 years
- Useful playtime tips, such as “allow your child to make mistakes” and “limit screen time”
Play is so important! Giving a child the opportunity, time, and space to play fosters many important life skills—skills that will last a lifetime.
