Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
1. Why won’t the timer start or stop from the widget sometimes?
This usually happens when Power Saver or Data Saver mode limits background activity, especially on Android. If the widget can't control the timer, it will automatically open the app to complete the action, ensuring reliable performance.
2. Why is the widget not updating or showing the correct timer?
Widgets rely on system background processes. If updates are delayed or stuck:
Make sure Battery Optimization is disabled for the app.
Avoid using Power Saver or Extreme Battery Saver modes.
Ensure your app is updated to the latest version.
3. Why does the widget layout change on Android?
Android offers more flexibility in widget sizing than iOS, and as a result, widget layouts can vary depending on the size and device. There are three main layouts:
Just the timer
The timer plus the previous 2 days of tummy time
The timer plus the previous 7 days
The widget automatically adjusts its layout based on how much space is available. You might also notice more or less white space around the content depending on the widget size and screen resolution.
Why Tummy Time Matters
Tummy Time is one of the most important early activities for Baby’s growth. Doing daily Tummy Time from birth to at least 6 months old helps Baby:
Build strength in the neck, shoulders, back, and core muscles
Prevent flat head syndrome (positional plagiocephaly) and stiff neck (torticollis)
Meet key motor milestones like rolling, sitting, and crawling.
