Tummy Time is one of the best ways to play with baby, and important for their development! With four simple Tummy Time positions, you can engage, bond, and have fun with baby.

These four Tummy Time positions are:

1. Tummy to Tummy – helps baby strengthen their back, neck, and tummy muscles, which will help them be able to lift their head.
2. Tummy Down Carry – helps baby get used to being on their tummy. While here, they’re able to look around at their surroundings which helps build neck, back, and core muscles, as well as work on their vestibular (balance and movement) sense.
3. Lap Soothe – helps bond with baby while developing motor and sensory skills.
4. Eye Level Smile – unlike the other positions, this one is down directly on the floor and a good one to build up to. It helps strengthen important back, neck, and core muscles, and great for developing motor skills.
