How to Make Slime

Who doesn’t love slime? Slime is a great way for kids to engage in sensory play, get creative, and learn to follow directions.

Here is how to make homemade slime with your little one!

The DIY slime materials you will need:

  • 8 oz. liquid glue

  • 1 tsp Borax

  • Mixing bowl

  • Plastic cup

  • Measuring cup

  • Food coloring

  • Warm water

  • Paper towels

  • Spoon

To make homemade slime, start by pouring glue into the mixing bowl. Fill the empty glue bottles with warm water. Put the lids back on and shake! Pour the glue and water mixture into the bowl. Use the spoon or your hands to mix. Add a few drops of food coloring. Measure ½ cup of water into plastic cup. Add Borax powder into water and stir. Pour Borax water into mixing bowl and stir. Watch the slime solidify and get ready to play!
